Over one-half of Paducah/McCracken County’s population is eligible for employment. Of the population over 25 years of age, over 80% have earned a high school degree or beyond. Paducah’s population has reasonable personal incomes, but they are less than the national average. In addition, Paducah has a strong population base of school age children, especially at the elementary school level.
